Green Lagoon, also known as Verde Laguna is an historic Turkish marble. Even if it has been widely used in the past, today other Indian marbles have taken its place. Green Lagoon is characterised by a green background, slightly veined, with light-green and dark-green shades, and some white spots. The quarries of Verde Laguna produce medium and small sized blocks, and the availability of this marble is very low. The slabs of Green Lagoon need to be resined, in order to increase its structural qualities, fixing any possible defect or micro-crack. Green Lagoon is a noble marble, and it should be polished in order to value its intense green colour.
