Veselye is a Croatian marble, characterised by the light cream color. It is widely used in Southern Europe. The quarries of Veselye have good productivity and blocks of small and medium size have good availability. The slabs of Veselye have white veins with various intensity and some fossils. Someone consider Veselye to be a limestone, because of its “nubby” structure. It is usually classified in two categories: “Unito” which is rarer and has a uniform colour and “Fiorito”. Thanks to its great resistance to low temperatures, it is very suitable for outdoor uses, even if its light colour gets dark over time. Veselye is commonly used also for indoor floorings, tiles, claddings, ventilate facades,..
