Jerusalem Gold is a famous Israeli marble, which some experts consider as limestone given its low polishability. Jerusalem Gold is a yellow cream stone, slightly pinky, usually chosen with brushed or honed finishings. The quarries have good productivity and the blocks, medium or big sized, can be cut both against the vein or in the sense of the vein. When the blocks are cut against the vein, the slabs have uniform colour and vein patterns, while the slabs obtained with a vein cut, usually present color variations and have to be selected when colour consistency is needed. The slabs obtained with a cross cut are usually resined. Ziche vacuum resins the slabs of Jerusalem Gold three times, using epoxy resins. Jerusalem Gold is commonly used for indoor floorings, claddings, tiles, stairs and outdoor floorings in warm countries.
